Jarkiewicz in Poland

We know that Jan and Kaspar (Gaspard) had at least one sibling, a sister, who died. If there were others, we don't know. Jan & Kasper's mother's maiden name was Gajda.  The town would have been Sokolina or Charbinowice. If anyone has any knowledge of them, please send me an email.

Jarkiewicz in France

My grandfather's brother, Kaspar, and his wife, Antoinette, emigrated to France, not the U.S. Their descendents found us here last year with the help of this website. You can imagine the excitement on both sides of the Atlantic! Kaspar and Antoinette had three daughters: Genevieve (Guina), Annie and Denise. Their descendents are also numerous!

Thank you to Patrick Odry for taping our reunion!

Jarkiewicz in the U.S.A.

My grandparents, Marja Mroz Jarkiewicz and Jan Jarkiewicz came to the U.S. from Poland in the early 1910's. Grandfather came first, twice to be exact, and Grandmother came later, with first-born daughter, Helen. Later  Joseph, Jane, Wanda, Frank and my Mother, Melanie were born. Their descendents are almost too numerous to count!
